About the Event
We are delighted to welcome the graduates of our first Survival Skills Workshop 2020, but for the second course.
We have some completely new skills for them to explore and we will also revisit some of the skills from the first course.
We will be learning about orienteering, we will be getting the hammer and nails out to build bird boxes and bug hotels, cooking over an open fire, but different to last time), more "problem solving" games, and something to make/whittle (like a wooden mallet) and to take home.
We will also have a fire, toast Marsh Mallows and drink hot chocolate.
We can take children that are a little older than 12, but they have to be happy to be around smaller children, no phones are allowed out of their bags, and they must be happy to be with us. The sessions will run for a course of 4 weeks, so that we can maintain our Covid bubbles, will be from 1.00 to 3.00 and cost £40 for the four weeks. We are not able to offer sibling or multi booking discounts on these tickets.
Furzefield Scout Campsite, Dappers Lane, Angmering, BN16 4EW- go up Dappers Lane from the village and turn left where you see our lime green flag.
