Christmas Pewter Cuttlefish Casting Workshop

This is a session for adults only.

Come and see and take part in an introduction to pewter casting with our fabulous, local pewter smith, Fleur Grenier.

She will demonstrate the technique of pewter casting using locally and ethically sourced cuttle fish bones.  She will show you how to carve your own designs and create something delightful for your Christmas Tree, Key Chain or simply as a pendant.

All materials will be provided as will some refreshments.

This is an outdoor workshop, so please come suitably dressed.

If you would like us to entertain your children while you are enjoying some "you time" please have a look at our children's Woodland Activity Days, that will be running at the same time on our site.  We will be offering a morning only ticket for children at just £15 per child. To book children's places you will need to book your place on the workshop and then find the childrens ticket under events.  Message us if you have any problems.

We are based at Furzefield Scout Campsite, go up Dappers Lane from the village and keep going until you see our lime green flag on the left.  Please arrive no earlier than 9.15, as the event will start at 9.30 promptly.
