Children's Party SORRY! SOLD OUT!

For children aged from pre-school to 12ish

All prices are based on a 2-hour party.

Party 10 am - 12.00 pm 

30 guests, including all children and adults.  If you would like more guests we are happy to discuss your requirements.

You will see below that we offer some great fun activities for the children to enjoy. However, we also follow the Forest School ethos of child led activity. So, children will not be “led” through each activity, rather, they are made available to them, if they should want to take part. If a child wants to sit and cover themselves in leaves for half an hour, that’s fine by us!

Basic Package - Two members of SFA staff one will be a Forest School Leader.

We will discuss what you would like for your party, but they can contain any of the activities below and pretty much anything else you might like. Just have a chat with us.

Camp fire, treasure hunt, age appropriate bush craft activity, den building, mud play, water play. bubble play, woodland games, fire lighting, tool work, tree swings.

Refreshment Package - To make things easier for you we are happy to offer refreshments to all your guests. We can supply tea, coffee, hot chocolate, squash and biscuits. It would be rude to have a campfire without them, so we would be happy to throw in a couple of bags of marshmallows for toasting.                                                                                  £15.00

Partyware Hire - 36 Party Cups, Plates and Bowls- to help you reduce your impact on the environment we can also provide you with colourful re usable partyware.  We will even wash them up for you!                                                                                                                                                                                                                         £10.00

Painting Activity- we can povide you with canvas's so that your child and friends can paint a piture in the woods and tale it home with them.  £25 will buy you one large canvas for the birthday child and 20 smaller canvas's for the guests.  More van be provided on request

Small Print

The expectation is that the parents of the party child will have overall responsibility for the children during the party.  We will discuss with you how many adult helpers you will need. Your  number of guests can be higher than 30, but the cost would be agreed at the time of booking.

We reserve the right to uphold our safety rules during the party so that we observe the terms and conditions of our insurance.

We would ask that if children want to dress up (and why wouldn’t you?), that parents make sure that they have other clothes with them to change into for when they toast their marshmallows or if they are taking part in fire lighting.

We recommend that you invite your guests to arrive 15 minutes before the start time of your party, so that's 9.45 for a 10.00 start.

We also offer a refreshment package so that you can offer any adults that stay a hot drink.  You can hire plastic party ware from us so that you create less party waste and we have plastic free party bags available.  You can find more information about this under "tickets" or talk to us about it.

The address is Furzefield Scout Campsite, Dappers Lane, Angmering BN16 4EW.  Go up Dappers Lane from the village and you will see our Lime Green flag outside the gate.

We have a car park and toilets on site.  The site is accessable to wheelchairs and buggies.
