An Introduction to Fabric Painting

In this workshop we will teach you how to paint permanently on fabric.  You will be amazed at how easy it is and how little specialist materials you will need.  The applications for this technique are endless.

Why not bring an item of clothing or furnishing with you to paint in the session?  The only thing you will have to remember is that the fabric must be made of natural fibre, so linen, cotton, silk etc. You could bring that old cotton shirt you love but want to jaz  up a bit. How about some hand painted detail on those comfy jeans that you love?  Don't worry if you don't have anything, we will supply you with a plain canvas bag to decorate and take home with you.

We are delighted that local sculpter and artist, Claudia Castleton- brown has agreed to run this workshop with us and to share her experience and knowledge with us.  For those of us that may need inspiration, she has also agreed to bring many of her own peices so that we can see what is possible

Please note that this is an outdoor workshop.  Set in our beautiful private woodland in Angmering, with a car park and toilets.  Refreshments will be provided. Please dress accordingly.  We will have cover in the event of rain.
