Sussex Forest Activities offers an invitation to adults and children to come, explore and enjoy the local woodland.
We hope that through Sussex Forest Activities our participants will foster, with our guidance and supervision:
Self‐regulation, self‐direction, and self‐reflection. That they will take away experiences and life skills that will stay with them for the rest of their lives. We hope that this experience will allow them to form a connection to the natural world and gain an understanding of the delicate balance of nature and the finite resources around us.

A B O U T U S
Sussex Forest Activities are a Sussex based company that specialise in running forest school and activities for children of all ages, with full day events for 5 to 12 year olds and shorter sessions for toddlers.
We also run family days and groups are also welcome. Sam is a trained, qualified and experienced forest and beach school leader. She is also a qualified Mindfulness meditation teacher.
All of our team are DBS and CRB certified. We are all either experienced forest leaders and/or child care professionals.
We have qualified first aiders on site and Sam is a qualified wilderness first aider.
We also hold all relevant food hygiene certificates. Public liability and specialised forest school insurances are in place. Risk assessments are completed for all the activities that take place on site and are reviewed regularly.

Food and Eating with Sussex Forest Activities
The preparing of food, cooking and communal eating is really important to us at Sussex Forest Activities. Apart from teaching the children valuable life skills, eating together is a wonderfully social experience. However, we know just how important it is for the children and us to follow safe food practices. For this reason we are a registered food providing company and are delighted to have been awarded a five star rating.
