OUR STORY
Sussex Forest Activities are a Sussex based company that specialise in running forest school and activities for children of all ages, with full day events for 5 to 12 year olds and shorter sessions for toddlers.
We also run family days and groups are also welcome. Sam is a trained, qualified and experienced forest and beach school leader. She is also a qualified Mindfulness meditation teacher.
All of our team are DBS and CRB certified. We are all either experienced forest leaders and/or child care professionals.
We have qualified first aiders on site and Sam is a qualified wilderness first aider.
We also hold all relevant food hygiene certificates. Public liability and specialised forest school insurances are in place. Risk assessments are completed for all the activities that take place on site and are reviewed regularly.
My daughter attends the Home Ed session on a Friday afternoon and loves it! Within a few weeks she has gone from a child who hated getting dirty to a little girl who is loving the outdoors again, making fires, erecting tents, and exploring the forest, and of course her favourite part.....toasting marshmallows on the fire!
Another fantastic forest school! A brilliant half term activity for children young and old. Sam and Caroline were fabulous and full of energy as usual. My daughter came home full of stories of what she had been doing that morning. Thanks all for another great experience!
My kids had such an amazing day at Forest School. My son is a nervous and anxious child, he was welcomed with open arms and a child friendly approach which made him feel happy to be left for the day, and he had an awesome time. We will be coming back for more in the holidays.
