Children's Party- 25th of May 2024

How about a wonderful woodland party for your child this year? We offer just what you are looking for in our private, enclosed woodland in Angmering, with all the convenience of a car park and toilets.

Our parties are ideal for all children from pre school age to teens.

Our parties are 2 hours long with 90 minutes of play and activity and half an hour for food and campfire marshmallows.

Basic Package - Two members of Sussex Forest Activities staff.

The basic fee of £215 covers you for up to 28 guests, including all children and adults.  If you would like more guests, it is just £1.50 for any additional guests.

You will see below that we offer some great fun activities for the children to enjoy. However, we also follow the Forest School ethos of child led activity. So, children will not be “led” through each activity, rather, they are made available to them, if they should want to take part. If a child wants to sit and cover themselves in leaves for half an hour, that’s fine by us!

We will discuss what you would like for your party, but they can contain any of the activities below and pretty much anything else you might like. Just have a chat with us.

Camp fire, treasure hunt, age appropriate bush craft activity, den building, mud play, water play, bubble play, woodland games, fire lighting, tool work, tree swings.

We can even "theme" your party, perhaps your child is mad about dinosaurs, a Harry Potter fan or has some other passion.  Just let us know.

 

To make things easier for you we are happy to offer refreshments to all your guests. We supply tea and coffee for the adults and squash for the children. You can either bring your own mugs and beakers or hire ours for an additional cost. If you hire ours we will even wash them up for you.

 It would be rude to have a campfire without them, so we are happy to throw in a couple of bags of marshmallows for toasting.  

All of the above is included in the basic party package at a cost of £215.00 (2024)  You may also add the "extras" as outlined below.

Party Ware Hire  -36 colourful re usable plastric partyware - Cups, Plates and Bowls for the children plus china mugs for your guests- to help you reduce your impact on the environment.      £20.00

Pinata- we can provide a pinata full of sweets to help the party go with a crash, bang wallop!     £20.00

Small Print

The expectation is that the parents of the party child will have overall responsibility for the children during the party.  We will discuss with you how many adult helpers you will need. 

We reserve the right to uphold our safety rules during the party so that we observe the terms and conditions of our insurance.

We would ask that if children want to dress up (and why wouldn’t you?), that parents make sure that they have other clothes with them to change into for when they toast their marshmallows or if they are taking part in fire lighting.

We invite you to come to the site at half an hour before the party start time to allow you some time to set your things out, we will have the tables and chairs already out and set. We would recommend that you ask your guests to arrive at 15 minutes before the party start time so that you can start promptly.

We have a car park and toilets on site. Please note that dogs, other than service dogs, are not allowed on site.
